Daily Essential Oils

We have been using essential oils for about 14 years now. I started out with Young Living, but have included other medicinally sound brands such as doTerra, Ameo, and Florihana. Here are a few recipes and explanations on various ways I utilize essential oils in our home. These are all in a rollerball size bottle – you can use arnica infused oil, castor oil, or avocado oil.

Bug Bites:

If you react poorly to insect bites, this recipe is for you. I dilute the following into a rollerball and fill with arnica infused oil:

  • 5 drops tea tree, 2 drops frankincense, and 2 drops lavender

Kidney Blend:

Stones, aches, infection? Need a little support in the urinary tract area?

  • 10 drops of each: ginger, nutmeg, frankincense, chamomile

Muscular Skeletal Blend:

Back aches, weird tingling up the spine; many times at night I have this “electrical” feeling that keeps me up – this blend usually alleviates it within minutes –

  • 10 drops of each: frankincense, peppermint, wintergreen, basil, cypress, thyme, and marjoram

Nerve Blend:

Some of my clients have damaged nerves that keep them up at night, or give out continual pain, some sharp, some just annoying and achy! This is a good blend to calm that down:

  • 10 frankincense, 5 helichrysum, 10 wintergreen, 5 sandalwood, 10 bergamot

Hope you found this useful – more recipes will be on the way! Essential oils are extremely potent and should be used properly. A little goes a long way with these guys. They are wonderful gift and have been used for centuries. I appreciate all the ways God provided for us!
