Make Your Own Broth

Bone broth is such an easy make with some amazing benefits. For people overcoming any digestive complaints, muscular skeletal issues, or autoimmune issues, I would suggest making up a gallon and drinking 1-2 cups daily.

Here is a simple way to make a power punch where food truly is medicine:

1 gallon clean filtered water

bones from organic grass fed animals (not pork)

2 Tb raw apple cider vinegar

1 TB real salt

Season however you’d like – I love curry blends

Add all ingredients to a crock pot or instapot. Put on the low setting, or slow simmer, or soup setting for instapot. For slow simmer, allow to simmer for 8-10 hours; denser bones like cow need longer.

Strain out the bones. Bottle your broth in quart jars. This will keep with the fat layer for several weeks. Once you open the jar, be sure to use it up that week. Keep on healing!
