We have some major poison ivy around our property. Plantain is a great remedy for most people, however I have found jewelweed to be the best for our family. It dries it up faster than anything I’ve used over the past 30 years.

I’m hoping to someday get up the courage to eat the small leaves of poison ivy and gain immunity, but until then, I’ll just keep making jewelweed cubes.

Gather your jewelweed, wash it off gently. Cut up loosely into a food processor. Add half the amount of plant matter in filtered water. Process for 2 minutes. Strain through a mesh strainer and pour into cube tray. Freeze. Store cubes in a baggie or container and use as needed. That’s it!
