Birthday Celebrations

To everything, there is a season. Sometimes it is a time of fasting and cleansing; at other times, celebration and thanksgiving. These festive occasions encourage our hearts to remember that life is meant to be a gift, a very good gift. So that when the hardships come, as they inevitably will, we can bear them up with fortitude because of the hope that soon it will be time for reprieve and comfort. Whatever your season is right now, take heart and know that your story is good – that the world was created with goodness & love. Without love, everything else is meaningless. Paul the Apostle expresses this wisely that we can have all things, but without love, it is all for nothing. This cake pictured below is wrapped in love and care because the man I made it for means all the world to me. Happy birthday, Aaron!
